Face to Face Portraits - Where your face is drawn into reality
My Biography

I have  always had a passion for drawing.  I can date this back to when I was a preschooler, there  wasn't any drawing paper around so I would draw stick figures in all of my mother's books. I delve    deeper  into art, fashion and drawing in middle school. I loved to get the Birmingham Newspaper for their Yielding’s department store ads with the hand drawn fashion models so that I could trace them.  I would share my sketches with my classmateswho loved my art, which  inspired me to explore it more in depth. In high school, I furthered my skills with extended practice. I am a self  taught  artist however I enrolled in art classes to expand my range. My diligence and hard work  paid  off when I won a scholarship to attend classes at the Birmingham Museum of Art. Now, many years later, I want to keep developing my talents and skills God has given me. I will continue my education in art soon. My desire is to become a portrait artist. I love to draw people because like the old saying goes, 'a picture is worth a thousand words’.  My favorite mediums to use are graphite, colored pencils and acrylics. I hope in some way my art work will touch the lives of people everywhere.
